i disagree with this so much i’m actually fuming. argh. let me break it down as to why this bugs the hell out of me.

it gives me a lot of feels that Louis is always so defensive of his friends, but what’s more important is that he still let the guy take a picture with him because even though he was pissed off, he was still polite and asked the guy in a nice way to change the way he was behaving. so i wish people would stop equating his protectiveness to him being rude or capable of tweeting awful things to others online.

one of the things i love so much about Louis is that he always puts others before him. he’s mentioned time and time again that he’s glad to be in a band instead of by himself because he probably wouldn’t be able to do it on his own without the other boys around for support.
when he didn’t get through in boot camp, he mentioned in the ‘Dare to Dream’ book that he was more upset that Harry and Liam didn’t get through because he felt they have the talent - he puts himself in the shadow when it comes to letting the other boys shine, and it makes me a bit emotional because it’s like he doesn’t see himself for what he’s worth.
so to answer your question: no, i don’t think he ever feels that. i actually think he’s glad to let Harry shine; proud that the boy he loves is so wanted. the only thing is that he probably gets possessive when it comes to females flirting with Harry.
so i saw this ask in my inbox today:

which refers to this post:

and i just have a lot to say about it because wow, it really rubbed me the wrong way.
they can’t be photographed together in public
they can’t do interviews with just the two of them
they can’t wear matching promise rings
they can’t openly put any claim on each other
so they decided to get matching tattoos
i was reading Zara’s answer to an ask earlier about her feelings on the boys, and i guess i see it a bit differently?
let me repeat to people who send me their Larry doubts (even though I’ve written this before):
so i’ve said that i think Louis has a lot of insecurities, and i mentioned that it’s part of the reason why i think he’s beautiful; but lately, i think people might be taking this insecurity thing too far… like making it seem as though he could be insecure with just about every aspect of his life. this quite frankly drives me insane. because even though Louis is complicated and he builds walls, it doesn’t mean that he’s sensitive about everything, or that everything bothers him and strips him of self-confidence. i’m sure there are certain things he is particularly insecure about, but people can’t assume that it automatically makes him someone who is unsure of everything - some posts i’ve read recently make it seem like Louis is someone to be pitied instead of understood, and i cannot STAND it because Louis would NEVER want anyone to pity him.
but am i the only one who thinks that Louis will be the first to stick up for others but the last to stick up for himself?
this isn’t an analysis on Harry’s tattoos since all of his tattoos are personal and i can’t even begin to speculate what each of them might mean; these are just my thoughts on how i think some of his tattoos might relate to how fame has affected him.
i’m sorry that i was away today when some of you needed my opinions and reassurance, but i was simply too upset to be in the fandom while everything blew up. i couldn’t even be around for the positive posts because they just made me so sad how our fandom has been attacked to the point where fans feel the need to comfort each other when a lot of us have done no wrong but support two boys who are obviously in love.
i’m now absolutely convinced that Nick is Harry’s go-to male figure to discuss his relationship with Louis.
